Blackwaterfoot is approximately 30 minutes drive over the Sting Road from the main port Town of Brodick, BWF (as it is locally abbreviated) is a very attractive village, centred around a very pretty harbour. Only a 55 minute ferry crossing from Ardrossan on the west coast of the mainland, itself less than an hour by car or train from Glasgow, leads to the idyllic island life available at Culag whether permanently or as a fantastic holiday retreat.
